stutter-funkers of St. Barths (part 1)

Yvan -- the bartender. Master of all vice and revelry.

everywhere we go, the family of stutter-funkers grows.  this being our second time to the island, we felt it only right that a few of the folks we come to know as real kindred spirits of the band should get some form of recognition.

first up: Yvan.  the nighttime bartender at the Baz Bar.  last time we were here, it was Yvan who showed us all the hidden night-spots and late-night hangs that the island had to offer.  if you’re looking for the guy who can point you in the right direction — for whatever — this is he.

you’ll have to find him first, though.  the only time we’ve ever seen him stationary is the hours he is behind the bar.  otherwise, he’s either on his motorcycle, or driving from one side of the island to the other.  a man about town.

and now, officially part of the stutter-funk family.  if you see him, welcome him.

About aabaraki

forged from the four corners of brooklyn... The Aa, the Ba, the Ra, and the Ki combine to wreck havoc on your aural impulses... Men want to be them, women want to be with them, and nothing can satiate them... reduction. stutter. funk. reducing the music to its bare essentials, deconstructing each facet, till it is but a dull and throbbing shell of its former self. they are aabaraki.
